I was just chosen for the Berton House writing residency in Dawson, Yukon. I'll be there from October to December of this year working on my history of aviation in Canada's north.

I'm currently working on a historical novel about a female bush pilot in Canada in the 1930s who goes to England during WWII as part of the Air Transport Auxiliary.

My first book, For the Love of Flying: the Story of Laurentian Air Services was launched last summer in Canada and abroad. So far arm-chair aviation enthusiasts and historians alike are finding it as enjoyable to read as it was to research and write!
