Speaking
I currently live in Edmonton, Alberta but travel frequently around North America.
Please contact me if you would like to arrange an interview, talk or author event. I am most comfortable in English but can also do Q&A sessions en français (y entiendo bastante bien el Español – e anche l’Italiano).
I enjoy interacting with audiences of all ages and backgrounds and would be happy to give a talk or interview on the following topics:
- My first book, For the Love of Flying, as well as my two new projects: a history of aviation in Canada’s north and a novel about a female bush flyer turned Air Transport Auxiliary pilot
- Teaching inclusive Canadian histories in an engaging way
- How writers can achieve their writing and publishing goals
Radio Interviews
- Two interviews with Dave White on “Airplay” (CBC Radio One – Whitehorse): “Berton House Writer Aims for the Skies with Two New Projects“
- On “All in a Day” with Alan Neal (CBC Radio One – Ottawa)
- On “Breakaway” with Jacquie Czernin (CBC Radio One – Quebec City)
- “Al and Faith in the Mornings” on KUGR, a local Wyoming station
