Eek! I can’t believe it’s almost time to launch this book into the world.
If you’re in the Halifax area and have 8-12 year olds in your life (although this will be a launch party for all ages!), please come on out Saturday, April 11th from 2-3pm.
Keshen Goodman has graciously accepted to host the event, and I will repay them with lemonade and ginger ale (like they drank on the ship!) and some sweet treats and yummy snacks.
Please come out and celebrate the courage and compassion of the people in this tragic tale, and learn a bit more about this chapter in local, national, and international history!
Hint: maybe start sourcing some Victorian clothing!
