I love to tell stories connected to Canada’s past. I am the author of For the Love of Flying and Polar Winds: A Century of Flying the North, edited the newly-released In This Together, and ghostwrote The Inventive Life of Warren Smith. My current projects include a kid’s book (Alis the Aviator/Alis l’aviatrice), a WWII-era historical novel (Sky Girl), and a creative nonfiction book about the Charles Camsell Indian Hospital. When I’m not delving into history myself, I teach writing workshops, freelance for magazines, and work with individuals, organizations, and corporations. Have a story you’d like help exploring? I’m all ears.
