One of the biggest honours of my career so far was having Freddie the Flyer chosen for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library in Canada. While I’d enjoyed Dolly’s music, movie roles, and general style and pizzazz for decades, it was especially her dedication to children’s literacy and education inspired me (and the other people who worked on this book) so much.
I’m sorry to say, Fred, that Dolly will never get that visit to Inuvik on this earthly plane like you’d hoped, but I think she would have enjoyed the northern hospitality of a Muskrat Jamboree!
